Hey!!
So once again it has been a great week!! haha thats sweet that you guys are in south america!! Now half the family is here! Im glad you guys are getting to meet some of the people there that britten taught! Im sure that has been alot of excitement for him also!
So this week has been really hard not gonna lie, like that last few days every one of our lessons have fell through! That makes things so much harder and difficult because then the people arent going to progress as fast! Although we do have a baptism for the 27th with a guy named Carlos!
Hes like 40 and an intersesting guy! Last monday we found him at the plaza and he said hey give me one of your books. Ha so we gave him a book of mormon. We found him again friday and he had read about half of the BOM and he said, hey give me another one of your books I like it. So we gave him a Teachings of the Prophet book! We had a lesson with him last night and he asked all these profound questions that we pretty difficult and so we know for sure that he had read a lot of both books! We taught him a lot about prayer and that God really does answer prayers so we told him to pray for him self if these books and the church is true! We saw him this morning and he said, hey your church is true. We asked him whys that? And he said that last night after he prayed about it, he said that he had a dream that this person dressed in all white, with white hair handed him a book! So he said I guess that means that your church is true and I know it! So I hope this guy keeps progressing!
South America has many problems ha! They have a huge problem with Chasity, and the Work of Wisdom big time! About half the kids that are 15+ are living with the opposite sex, and smoking. And when we teach girls that are younger its really hard to know if they want to hear for the lesson or you! haha i got a pretty nice hair cut, lets just say short enough you can barely see some hair ha, and now i think there in for the lessons now haha!!
Yesterday we had Stake Conference and it was really good, and a lot of people! WE travel to a plave called Las Piedras like twice a week for zone meeting and stuff. We were hoping that we could get Carlos to stake conference with us yesterday but he was busy and couldnt.
I cant believe christmas is already here, theres no snow. JK Im in South America and its hot and doesnt really feel like christmas.
